日本生まれ、カナダ・アメリカ育ち、１２歳の頃からベースを始め、故チャーリー・ヘイデン師、ダレック・オレス、ピーター・ロフェにベースを師事、ロスアンゼルスでベーシスト、作曲家、音楽教師として活動中。
Masatoshi Sato is a bass player, composer, educator, a native of Japan, currently residing in Los Angeles Area. He moved to Montreal, Canada, where he discovered Jazz. He was inspired by Charlie Haden at the Montreal Jazz Festival and decided to move to Los Angeles, California to study under and was mentored by Charlie Haden, Darek Oles, and Peter Rofe. He's currently residing in Los Angeles area, performing, recording,  teaching and cooking delicious food and beer.
